Greetings Beautiful Earthlings!!!
HAPPY MONDAY !!!!
Its a new day for the week, and a week to Eid-ul Fitri for the Muslims ... Yeay!!! 8 days more to go to fast. Good lord, I'm such a kid with this very low self-control. Well, 8 days of whiny childish Abby then (as if I won't be after fasting month).
Hey, its my baby brother's birthday!!! Happy Birthday my lovable Afis!!! Okay, he's not really a baby, today, Afis is 13. But this is what he'll always look like to me, my baby, my love, my heart. Hafiz Latif, born September 22nd 1995.

Last Saturday, the KLickr held their September gathering and decided to go with a Ramadhan Bazaar photography, potluck Iftar at Johan's house and Light Painting. I remembered a light painting videoclip I've watched once and immediately love the idea. It was called PikaPika The Movie.
And here is what happened behind the scenes of KLickr Light Painting activity. We didn't make a movie out of it but well, its a learning curve and I bet we can do a time-lapse light painting next time, for sure. Check out some of their streams - Prakash and Adi.

The Muthafunka radio by Raimy and Holly have been playing on loop on my Amarok player (yes, I use Linux, lalala) and if you want to be hooked like me as well, you can get it here - Muthafunka Radio Episode 3. Holly Miranda did a great guitar solo in this episode and check out her band, The Jealous Girlfriend. And she does have a sexy voice (which explains why I'm hooked). Yeay, one day to go to the end of the working week!!! I went to the Bombay Sapphire Arts Project 2008 hosted by Valentine Willie Fine Art gallery at Alexis Bangsar last night. Thanks to Nell for the invite, congratulations to the lady artist who won the cocktail mix competition, congratulations to Valentine Willie Fine Art gallery for a great event and cool goodie bag (seriously love the booklet of interior design and of course, the gin. Hehehe) and of course, finally got to toast Erna for her new job after just got to know it last night, haha. Atilia Haron will be performing as a Guest Singer to Eric Li's Afro-Cuban Night at No Black Tie this Friday (22nd August at 10.30pm). The great line up will include Eric Li (piano), Jon Cavendish (bass), Adam Osmianski (drums), Valtinho Anastacio (percussions), Razak (percussions). Eric Li will be performing like a doctor injecting an Afro-Cuban twist into Atilia's "Sangkar", "Ranjau" and "Sudah". There will be cover charge which is RM30 per person.

This Saturday, 23rd August 2008 is World Photowalk Day initiated by Scott Kelby, and our dearest KLickr admin, Shafina has registered Kuala Lumpur to be participating for this event. We will roam the still existing Kampung Baru in the middle of Kuala Lumpur before it is demolished. I'm just looking forward for the walking exercise because I need to buff myself up for a certain photoshoot with a superb photographer. Hehehehe.
