    Greetings Warm-hearted Earthlings!!!

    Happy Tuesday Everydoby!!!

There's not much to report on today. I'm in my lovey dovey sappy moody because it has been raining for a few days now and twice last week, my sneakers were soak wet and I had to buy cheap flip flops to wear instead.

A cool music enthusiast who is also the Co-Producer for Liz Feldman's This Just Out show, Raimy Rosenduft posted my local music suggestion in her blog. Last week, I suggested Kokokaina, Mia Palencia, Yuna and Reza Salleh and she posted in her blog:-

"Abby from Malaysia sent some local Malaysian indie artists; Reza Salleh, Yuna, Mia Palencia, Kokokaina (Malaysian Singer based in LA)"

So if you want me to forward her your songs, let me know, drop me an email at nurol.latif@gmail.com and I'll test-hear your songs and will put on a good word or two about you and email for her consideration okay. Raimy has one of the best ears for good music and I always love her mixes that she put on her blog. You should also check out This Just Out by Liz Feldman because she is one hell of a funny lady.

Remember that Worldwide Photowalk Day we had last Saturday? Well, it was a blast! And I got a picture to prove it!!!

And on Sunday we had a birthday celebration for Syiqin at Yuritei, in Sentul Park near KLPac, so I think the restaurant brings some sort of a zen-ish vibe and although I didn't really taste the food (except for Muid's miso soup), the ambience definitely guarantees that it will not be my only visit there. Plus, watching the lake and koi pond while smoking away, total Zen I tell you.

I'm still a sucker for Uh Huh Her these days, having their songs on repeat and hoping that I can get their Common Reaction cd soon. So enjoy these 2 songs which happened to be my favourites.

What else, what else. Will update this soon when I get the time.

I'm just looking forward for the walking exercise because I need to buff myself up for a certain photoshoot with a superb photographer. Hehehehe. So if you're in Kuala Lumpur and wish to join us, do log on to the World Photowalk Day - Kuala Lumpur and register yourself there!!! Below is the route we'll be doing for the grande photowalk.

Uh Huh Her has just launched their first music video, Not A Love Song. Artistically done with a unicorn, I think both ladies are drooling HOT in the clip. You'll definitely enjoy Oi Oi Lady, errrr, I mean Uh Huh Her. Most definitely, no doubt, UhHuh...

And please vote for my friend, Matthias Gelber in his pursuit to becoming The Most Green Person on Earth!!! You can log on to - 3rdwhale.com to vote and before that, have a go on his promo clip which I include here.

Please don't forget to tune in 8TV (Astro channel 708) on Tuesday (tonight) at 9.30pm for 5Jingga, a new local musical teen drama about a group of highschool cheerleaders. You can also view it on video streaming online at www.8tv.com.my.

I'm just looking forward for the walking exercise because I need to buff myself up for a certain photoshoot with a superb photographer. Hehehehe. I was supposed to register for a 10km marathon on August 24th but apparently Effa called in the secretariat and found out that they have reached their quota and will not accept anymore registration! Damnit! Never mind, I shall enter the next marathon available. I need to run for life. Hehehe, literally and metaphorically. But nevertheless, if you're in Kuala Lumpur and wish to join us, do log on to the World Photowalk Day - Kuala Lumpur and register yourself there!!!

Photos are up on Facebook. I am still listening to Uh Huh Her. Enjoy this clip with 2 of my favourite songs from Uh Huh Her. They're a very very cool duo. Any girl who can rock a keyboard and bass, definitely rocks my socks! But Camila Grey has a very impressive portfolio having to play for Dr. Dre and the likes, and Leisha Hailey, not only is she a HOT and talented actress, she also came a long way from The Murmurs. This band reminds me of the magic Shirley Manson brings whenever I start screaming my lungs out while listening to Garbage. Ahhh, the old days revisited. But you'll definitely enjoy Uh Huh Her. Most definitely, no doubt, Uh Huh...

Don't forget to go watch "Susuk" the movie.

    Greetings Lovable Earthlings!!!
Too much has (not) been happening in the abyss of my cosmic universe hence the not updating part.

But just a quick reminder, have you voted for Your Aussie Ambassador???? (Remember this shout-out?) Well, you can view the clips and vote for your personal favourite Aussie Ambassador but mine will definitely be my dear friend Effa Desa. You can click here to read her experiences and if you like her, do vote for her!

For all you Jazz lovers out there, these two weekends would satisfy your jazz hunger with the Sunrise Jazz & Rhythm Fest 2008 happening at Mont Kiara Plaza on the 25th & 26th July and 1st & 2nd August from 8pm onwards. Admission is free and you will be entertained by some great local musicians like The Phunk Mob, Mia Palencia and Hunny Madu. I'll be there on 2nd of August 2008 to catch Hunny Madu's performances.

From the 29th to 31st July 2008, my company will be organising the International Corporate Social Responsibility Conference 2008: "Where Responsibility Meets Bottomline" at Hilton Kuala Lumpur. One of the first biggest CSR conferences in Malaysia, I will be on my toe as part of the secretariat for this event and am looking forward to see a lot of foreign delegates, fund managers, representatives from UN Global Compact and also the 1997 Nobel Peace Prize Winner, the Mines Advisory Group (MAG). For further information please visit www.csrconferences.com.

I need to start updating regularly huh? Hopefully there's more events to come. Aside from Atilia's Ranjau Music Video launch on the 31st July, 2008, I'm just looking forward to get through with the conference, have a great big dinner and drinks (hehe, of course) with my bosses and team. I will post Atilia's Ranjau videoclip once I get full authorisation to do so. Am quite happy about it because I was on set when it was shot and I managed to make friends with most of the cast (minus those who are already my friends la) like Vanida, Annur and Irene.

Currently I'm on a "L Word" marathon and have fallen in love with the band 'Uh Huh Her' which is made up by Leisha Hailey ('Alice Pieszecki' in The 'L' Word) and Camila Grey. Do visit their website at www.uhhuhher.com. Plus, singing in an Armani dress and heels, definitely HOT! Haha.

Well, you lots have a great day and night until I update ya!

Love Always, Hugs Warmly, Kisses Everywhere!!!
